SJPEC is the supervisor's association for San Juan USD whose function is to advocate for and represent its members.

Our Organization

As school leaders, members are constantly advocating for better public schools and strong leadership by school administrators.

Our History

During the 2005-2006 school year, a group of site administrators asked to hold an election allowing them to become a union.

Representative Council Meeting Dates

Rep Council meetings are held monthly at 4:30 p.m. and consist of the following representatives: Exec Board members, three elementary site principals, one K-8 principal, one middle school administrator, one high school administrator, one ECE administrator, one Special Education Program Specialist, and two school psychologists.

These reps reach out to their specified groups for input on issues and to bring information/concerns to the Rep Council meetings.

General Membership Meeting Dates

General Membership meetings are open to all SJPEC members and are held twice per year- September/October and March/April. All meetings are held in a central location and begin at 4:00 p.m. Agenda items typically include, but are not limited to the following: organization report, collaboration with district and other bargaining groups, SJPEC budget, events, and contract negotiations.

All members are highly encouraged to attend.

Upcoming Socials and Events Dates

SJPEC, in collaboration with SJAA, hold socials and special events several times during the year. Typically, we have an event before school starts, one in the late fall or spring, and one after school lets out.
